Winter 2012 Newsletter It feels like summer just passed, when Westchester Meadows residents were swaying to tropical tunes, sipping festive Pina Colada’s and nibbling on tropical inspired hors d’oeuvres for our annual end of summer Luau. Turn around and here we are ringing in the New Year! Much happened in between. Here is just a sampling: In September our residents enjoyed a delightful performance of Classic Show tunes by Soprano Daniele Hager and Pianist Eric Thomas Johnson. Our in-house professors, residents Jewel and Bernard Bellush continued their monthly political discussion which always proves to be both lively and enlightening. We were also privy to a thoughtful evening of Westchester Meadows resident memoir readings, the results of a memoir writing course offered here by Professor Diane Travers. In October we were treated to a performance by the Blues Dogs Blues Band, led by the son of resident Mimi Frankel (a new resident featured in our last Newsletter). Residents also
