But part of our profession includes staying healthy and active ourselves. After all, how can we care for people if we are the ones that are sick? By staying well we cannot only make sure that we get to work every day, but also are more productive while we do our jobs. Here are some quick tips for maintaining a healthy work environment: •Wash your hands often. •Keep your workspace clean. Germs can live on contaminated surfaces, but cleaning your work station clear can also make your job easier! •Eat healthy, balanced meals. Since 1986, our program has been providing high quality home health care to individuals all over the Bronx. Now offering the same, top-notch level of care to the residents of Queens, we renew our pledge to create a “nursing home without walls. ” “We are very pleased to have the chance bring the HHH quality of care across the bridge to Queens,” says Joann Monahan, Director of Patient Services for the LTHHCP. “Patients should take comfort in knowing that we will be bringing the same level of care that we are known for in the Bronx with us into these new areas. ” The move will provide eligible residents of Queens County with the wide range of services the LTHHCPcan offer. After an evaluation, our patients will be assigned a health care team, consisting of a home health aide, a nur
