May 21, 2011 - Singapore remains to be a favorite destination for foreign investments in Asia
Pacific.
Rikvin, a Singapore-based company providing professional services such as
incorporation integrates its nominee services to aid foreign companies and investors in
registering a company in the city-state.
“Foreign investors can register a private limited company, while foreign companies can opt for a
subsidiary company or branch office,”Rikvin quips.
As the subsidiary company has a private limited as its structure, both this and the private limited
company have similar requirements.
“To register, there must be three separate individuals to hold the position such as the resident
director,shareholder, and corporate secretary,”Rikvin explains.
As ordinary residence is among the qualifications of a resident director, a work visa such as an
Entrepreneur pass or Employment pass is essential for foreign nationals to hold such title.
