Employers Keen not to Bypass School-leavers during Recruitment Process
Online recruitment specialist, Recruitment Genius, believes major employers across
the country are beginning to realise they will have to change their recruitment
processes in response to the rise in university tuition fees.
Sevenoaks, Kent, January 05, 2011 -- Online recruitment specialist, Recruitment
Genius, believes major employers across the country are beginning to realise they
will have to change their recruitment processes in response to the rise in
university tuition fees.
Accountancy giant Deloitte announced this week that it plans to focus more of its
recruitment efforts on school-leavers, as well as the university graduates who
would usually get the pick of the jobs at Deloitte.
From September 2011, the firm said it will take on 100 school-leavers, with a
minimum of three Bs at A Level, each year to ensure it does not overlook the bright
candidates who are put off university by the £9,000-a-year fees.
