When you sit down in a hot tub the feelings that your mind and body acquire are caused by
simple features that occur in hot bubbling water, something which has been around for
thousands of years.
There is no doubt that
owning a hot tub is
like have a natural hot
spring in your
bathroom or backyard.
Hot water relaxes your
muscles and dilates or
makes your blood
vessels larger,
allowing more blood
to flow.
Blood carries
nutrients to all the
parts of your bodies
that may need it.
Your body floating in
the water is called buoyancy which takes additional pressure off your heart and other
internal organs and muscles.
As your body relaxes you brain releases endorphins which are
a natural type form of morphine.
Endorphins keep pain receptors from transmitting and
they also create a sense of well being similar to that of opiates.
Endorphins are released in times of pain or pleasure and will help you to relieve pain, stress
and anxiety.
