Last fall, a bill calling for the stimulation of New Jersey’s timber market
(S1954/A4358) moved through the
state legislature and was ultimately
held up in the Assembly.
The bill
was re-introduced in the beginning
of 2012 as S1085, the “Forest
Harvest Program on State Lands”
bill.
