The Blue Angels
perform their first official air show of the 2008 season at Naval Air Facility El Centro, Calif.

After 120 practice shows starting in early January the six Navy and
Marine Corps pilots were finally able to show off their skills at the season opener in their F/A-18
Hornets.
The Naval Flight Demonstration Team traditionally opens their air show season at El
Centro before going out on the road and moving their headquarters to NAS Pensacola, Fla.

the rest of the year.
