It may be a bit heavy (356g without batteries), but The Samsung EX1 is a point-and-shoot camera that is able to deliver good pictures at any angle. Its dual dials and front wheel key lets you adjust settings in an instant while its f/1. 8 Schneider lens allows a user to focus more on the subject. Samsung really made sure that the camera is ready for almost anything. At the top of the camera are two dials (mode and drive mode) for quick setting adjustment, a power button, zoom rocker, flash release switch, hot shoe, and popup flash. Other control buttons such as AEL, Metering, Navigation (also functions as Flash, ISO, Display, and Macro), Menu, and Video Record are located on the rear. It features a 12-megapixel sensor and a whopping 15x optical zoom. One of its main features is the large 3. 0” AMOLED (Active Matrix Organic light emitting diode) display. AMOLED displays are superior to traditional TFT displays in terms of color, resolution, reading angle and readability under sunlight. This means that outdoor photographers will benefit a lot from this screen, along with its geotagging feature, tagging photos with coordinates of where the picture was taken.

The 12. 2 megapixel TL105 and 14. 2 megapixel TL110 ultra-slims sport a 0. 65-inch frame, 2. 7-inch LCD, 720p 30fps H. 264 video recording, some image effects, and a 4x / 5x optical zoom, respectively. Those will be available next month, with no price tag mentioned in the presser. The 12. 2 megapixel SL630 claims all the other features but with a 28mm wide-angle lens, and only 640 x 480 AVI video recording -- that one s coming in March.
