Fashion For Paws Supports DC Charity The Fashion for Paws annual event is one of the major supporters of the Washington Humane Society. The Washington Humane Society has been working for the welfare of our furry friends (among other animals) for almost 150 years. The Washington Humane Society is the sole open access shelter for animals in the DC charity area. It takes care of about 30,000 animals every year and offers an extensive range of programs all geared towards protecting animals and making their lives better. Some of the more notable programs at the Humane Society are the detailed adoption program, the affordable spay and neuter program, lost and found program, and foster and volunteer projects. All the good work that the Washington Humane Society is doing would not be possible without the generosity and support of concerned people, as well as organizations. Aside from individual contributions and donations from benefactors, several events are also put up annually in order

Fashion For Paws Supports DC Charity The Fashion for Paws annual event is one of the major supporters of the Washington Humane Society. The Washington Humane Society has been working for the welfare of our furry friends (among other animals) for almost 150 years. The Washington Humane Society is the sole open access shelter for animals in the DC charity area. It takes care of about 30,000 animals every year and offers an extensive range of programs all geared towards protecting animals and making their lives better. You can enjoy some cutting edge fashion while helping to support the Washington Humane Society who provides care and shelter to homeless animals, every day. This show has been running each year since 2007, and has been named the best fashion event in Washington for the past three years, selling over 1700 tickets each year. Wellknown television personalities have been participants, and this year Ashlan Gorse of E! News Now will be hosting the event. Three categories of models will be on the runway, including fundraising models who were required to raise $5000 for the Washington Humane Society prior to the show. These models are competing for the prize of "Model Washingtonian of the Year," which is to be awarded to the top male and top female fundraisers. The show will also feature dogs dressed
